  1. What's this?

    Craigslist Mailer is designed to let you contact your potential customers on craigslist easily.

  2. What are the main features?

    This mailer can chain all your email accounts together and switch accounts for every given number of emails. E.g. if you have 10 accounts and want to send out 100 emails, you can use this mailer to send 10 emails from each account easily.

    It is designed specially for craigslist. With it, you can simply filter out all email addresses suffixed with @craigslist.org.

    To present better looking content to your customer, you can also use the HTML email content (plain text email content as backup).

  3. How to use it?

    Basically, you just need to follow the following steps one by one to send out your emails.

    • Setup your email accounts
    • Setup your email subject and content
    • Import your email targets
    • Click the SEND button to send them all

  4. How to setup my email accounts?

    • Run the mailer, at the left side, choose the Accounts table
    • Click the Add button to add a new email account
    • Now you will be lead to a new window on which you need to fill all details for your email account
    • Check all details and click the Save button

  5. What are the meanings of each email detail?

    • Nick name will be shown as the from user name when your customer receive your email
    • Email address is the from address and the reply-to address
    • Server name is the SMTP server from which you send your emails
    • Port is the SMTP server port, normally it can be default to 25
    • Use SSL should be checked if your SMTP server is connected in secure connection
    • Need credential should be checked if your SMTP server ask you for user namd and password
    • User name is used for credential
    • Password is used for credential

  6. How can I setup GMAIL account?

    Before you can use your GMAIL account, you need to enable client access to your account on gmail.com. You can enable this at Forwarding and POP/IMAP page on gmail.com web.

    The mailer can help you to setup GMAIL account quickly. You just need to input your Nice name and Email address, then all other details will be filled except the Password field. Setup the Password field and Save all details.

  7. How can I import many GMAIL accounts easily?

    You need to put all your accounts in a file with the following format.

y@gmail.com:password_for_y

    Then at the Accounts table, click Load accounts to load them all. Note that you can specify a Nice Name for all of them.

  8. How can I import target addresses?

    Choose the Targets table and click the Load button, choose the file and import them.

    You need to put the target addesses in a file one per line. Leading and tailing spaces and blank lines will be ignored.

  9. I do not need the @craigslist addresses.

    Click the Delete @craigslist button to delete them all.

  10. I load incorrect email addresses.

    Click the Clear button to delete all.

  11. How can I chain all my accounts to send emails?

    After you add all your accounts, they will be chained automatically. What you need to do is to modify the Change account after setting.

  12. How can I send both HTML and PLAIN mail content?

    Check the Use both text body at the right up conner. Fill plain body text at the Plain Body table, html source code at the Html Body table. You can preview your HTML body at the Html Body Preview table.

    If you export more details from the harvester and import the file to this mailer, you can use the MACROs to customerize your emails with such details.

  14. How can I make every email different?

    Currently our mailer can support MACROs with which you can customerize each emails easily. The following MACROs all are applied to Subject, Plain Body and HTML Body.
